Bill came to faith through a university ministry at Texas Tech University and soon after began serving in a local youth group. Through that church, he sensed God’s call into pastoral ministry and received support to attend seminary. He graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1992 with a Master of Divinity and has served in several South Texas churches. However, it was not until he came to Medina that he realized he had truly come home.
Bill and his wife, Anna, were married in March of 1992 and have shared over three decades of life, ministry, and learning together. They recently built their forever home on ten acres and enjoy a simple, grateful lifestyle that includes gardening, caring for their property, and beekeeping. They love helping couples and families grow and thrive in Christ, and Bill especially enjoys discipling men and helping them grow in their walk with Christ.
They have three adult children: Christi, who lives in Bryan, Texas with her husband David; Kaitlin, who is currently attending the Upper School of Ministry in Dallas; and Cody, who lives in Medina. Bill and Anna are also joyfully embracing the inexpressible blessing of being grandparents to their precious granddaughter, Olivia.
Bill treasures early mornings with God in what he calls his “5 AM Club,” and finds great joy in family, faith, and the daily privilege of serving Christ and His church.
We are working to resolve the issue. In the meantime, please enjoy one of our past services available on the Sermon page.
